CHRISTINE MARSIGLIO MW

Christine is a Canadian residing in London, and became a Master of Wine in 2019.

​

She was awarded the Bollinger Medal for excellence in tasting and outstanding achievement in the Institute of Masters of Wine practical examinations.

​

She was also awarded the Taransaud Tonnellerie Award for her excellent knowledge in the production and handling of wine theory paper.

​

Since becoming a Master of Wine, Christine has helped MW students, with Jim Gore at the Global Wine Academy, to help students build the confidence they need to pass the Practical Examination of the Master of Wine Exams.

Christine is the Head Wine Educator at Folly Enterprises, the people behind Wine Folly and Global Wine Database.

​

Christine is a certified wine educator for the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and recently contributed to the development of materials for the newly released WSET Diploma.

​

She holds an MSc in Oenology and Viticulture from École Supérieure d'Agriculture d'Angers, France, where her thesis focussed on the early detection of Brettanomyces in wineries.

​

Christine founded Marsiglio Wine in 2019 in order to provide high quality wine education to students around the world.
